The Greater Nashua Food Council is an ever expanding group using a collective impact model of over 80 local residents and partner organizations who are stakeholders in creating a sustainable food system in Nashua.  There is a particular focus on those that struggle with food insecurity and thinking through some of the deeper system issues that may be barriers to food access such as transportation, livable wages, stable housing, healthy homes, and childcare.

Taking this systems thinking approach will be key to developing and sustaining the relationships needed to improve food access.  The Council is focused on three key areas of nutrition education, production, and distribution to create a sustainable food system that provides healthy food options for all residents of Nashua.
