"Farm to School is a high-value way to achieve multiple goals for community health, public health, education, equity, economic prosperity, and environmental protection. "

Start with the Learning Garden
Our city's students of all ages love this programming and the fun educational activities that come along with it. Our goal is to empower students to make positive lifestyle choices through hands-on learning experiences, community involvement, and healthy eating awareness campaigns.
We are accomplishing this by developing and utilizing school gardens, engaging parents, and the incorporation of curriculum focused on sustainability, food systems, nutrition, cooking, and plant sciences.
Continue by Sustaining Together
We are developing a comprehensive program in collaboration with Regenerative Roots where Nashua K-12 students will be involved with FTS activities throughout their education. This will encourage students to eat healthy and purchase locally, thereby helping to resolve macro health issues while also promoting the local economy.
This FTS program effectively and efficiently strengthens the community by providing the educational opportunities and social connections necessary to grow the leaders of tomorrow and our students absolutely love it!
